HIKING ITINERARY FOR 8 DAYS

Day 1_ Dilasha Beach. We will pick you from the airport to dilasha beach overnight at the beach .Early morning packing our stuff than go to have a breakfast after breakfast we will picke you driving to the point of starting it’s call Adweneh.we find our cameleerAfter we put all the stuff on the camele we hik two hours and half to the location for lunch relaxe continue hik to Adhoo demala that are locations for over night. Day 2_ Darho canyon. After breakfast camping takes two an hour to the mountain to Fareh to get a view of the city as well as you can calmping the mountain we back same way to place that overnight and containsto down to Wadi Asakalow ‘take one an hour in the we will swim and refresh, As the cameler goes forward to waday Dehemedeher passing waday Askaloo. In waday Dehemedeher, we can refresh ourse es and have lunch. it’s take walk 3 hours .. After lunch, we continue walking tovillage Darheo overnight in canyon takes two hours to place overnight. at Darhoo canyan .Day_3_Skand pick the highest mountainAfternoon and Evening (Above the Summit)Reach the highest point and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view overlooking the island’s northern and southern coasts, weather permitting. Free time to walk around the summit, take photos above the clouds and relax.• Welcoming the Camels and Setting Up the،Camp (3 hours before dark):The camels will meet at the designated campsite on the mountain, and the unloading of belongings will begin. Everyone will participate in setting up the mountain camp in the cool, refreshing atmosphere.• Evening and Night:• Watch an exceptional sunset from the island’s highest point. Prepare a hot and delicious dinner over a wood fire to combat the mountain chill.• Enjoy a traditional Socotra evening gathering around a campfire, sharing local stories and poems, and gazing at the exceptionally clear stars thanks to the high altitude and pristine air (a natural astronomical observation experience).• Sleep in tents atop the enchanting Skan،peak. to remind tourists to bring a warm, windproof jacket, as the weather at Skand peak at night is quite different from the rest of the island—cold and foggy!Day 4 _ Fermhin forest.. After breakfast hiking to top mountain nice atomsepher and the vi, w of mountain and nutur a step with trail take 2 hours to top we full our ayes specutral view Dragon’s Blood Tree,range mountain with dragon blood trees overnight in at forest ,of dragon bloodtree.we will meet the cars at the place overnight at forest .Day 5_Derher canyon &village deesmo Trail start from Farmhen Forest (early morning)Expected time: 6:30 AM – 9:00 AMTrail type: Gradual descent from the plateau towards the depths of the valley،Activities:Start your hike amidst the unique Dragon’s Blood trees, taking advantage of the fresh morning air and capturing photos before the sun gets too hot.Enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding mountain slopes during the descent. Arrival at Darhar Valley (rest and swim)Expected time: 9:00 AM،Activities:Reach the fresh, pure water in the valley.Swim and relax in the natural pools to refresh yourself after the hike.Enjoy a light breakfast or fruit, and drink،refreshing tea under the shade of the rocks and palm trees. Ascent of Da’arhu Valley،towards the Dheesmo area (afternoon)Trail type: Continuous ascent from the depths of the valley towards the highlands via rocky،mountain paths. Activities:Continue the hike upwards, where the trail offers breathtaking views of the Da’arhu Valley.Observe the dramatic changes in the terrain and native flora during the ascent, until you reach and settle in the Dheesmo area.Expected time: 4:25 PM onwards.Activities:Reach the target point above the Da’arhu Valley and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.Set up your campsite or rest area and enjoy the unique sunset view from the heights.Enjoy a hearty, local lunch/dinner to replenish the energy lost during the day.Day 6: From the Deesmo Highlands to the Wonders of the South (Digub Cave and Awmq Beach) Morning: Farewell to the Highlands and Departure SouthWake up early and have breakfast in the Deesmo area above Wadi Da’arhu, enjoying the last mountain views and taking memorable photos of the cliffs in the early morning. Then, embark on a pleasant road trip across the southern plateau, descending towards the coastal plain of southern Socotra (Nujd area). Along the way, you will notice the stunning gradual change in terrain and vegetation, from the humid mountain environment to the open plains with white sand.Exploring the Secrets of Digub Cave,Digub Cave is a huge natural cave nestled in the mountain cliffs overlooking the coastal plain. Activities inside the cave:Walking and Exploration: Enter the vast and easily walkable depths of the cave and admire the unique rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites that have formed over thousands of years.Silhouette Photoshoot: The cave entrance is very wide and overlooks the plain, making it an ideal spot for taking stunning professional photos where people appear as dark silhouettes against the breathtaking daylight.Relaxation and Refreshment: The cave is naturally cool and permanently shaded, making it an ideal retreat from the morning sun, while listening to the sounds of cave bats and the occasional water droplets that trickle from the ceiling.Arrive at Awmq Beach, one of the most beautiful long sandy beaches with soft white sand and turquoise waters stretching along the Arabian Sea. As a token of appreciation, a generous and appropriate tip will be given to the camel driver, followed by commemorative photos and a farewell hug.• 8:30 AM: Ride in a 4×4 and head east towards one of Socotra’s most magnificent canyons. Enjoy a swimming and lunch adventure in the renowned Kalisan Canyon, famous for its pristine waters and stunning canyon formations.Activities in the Canyon:Hiking and continuous swimming: Descend into the heart of the canyon where a series of deep, turquoise natural pools await, surrounded by polished white rocks. A perfect opportunity for swimming, safe diving, and relaxing in this pristine oasis surrounded by rare plants.After a refreshing swim, gather for a delicious and nutritious lunch prepared amidst the canyon’s unspoiled nature, followed by a warm Socotra tea session under the shade of the rocks. Drive towards the legendary Arher Beach, at the easternmost tip of the island, where the mountains meet the sea in a breathtaking scene. Arar Beach: This is where the grandeur of nature in Socotra is on full display, where towering white sand dunes (resembling mountains of snow) meet the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean. What makes Arar unique is the presence of a cool, flowing freshwater spring that springs from the heart of the rocky mountain bordering the beach and flows directly into the sea, surrounded by green palm fronds.• Activities in Arar:Dune Climbing Challenge: For those who are fit, take on the challenge of climbing the giant sand dunes before sunset. Along the coastal road, tourists pass by the small fishing villages and the majestic slopes of the Haghier Mountains, which embraced your adventure in the early days.A quick stop in Hadibu: Arrive in Hadibu to purchase some last Socotra souvenirs (such as the famous Socotra honey, Hojari frankincense, or handicrafts), and a chance to say goodbye to the local team who accompanied you on your logistical and preparation trips.
